Number of Tracks: 0

There are currently no operational greyhound tracks in Colorado. At one point there were five tracks throughout the state: Mile High Kennel Club in Denver, Pueblo Greyhound Park in Commerce City, Cloverleaf Kennel Club in Loveland, Rocky Mountain Greyhound Park in Colorado Springs and Interstate Kennel Club in Byers.1 By 2008, all these facilities had closed for live racing.2 In May 2013, GREY2K USA lead a coalition of animal groups to pass a prohibition on dog racing, which was signed into law by Governor John Hickenlooper.3
