Giving for the Future: The Hope Fund

Hope the greyhound

A bequest or other planned gift is an excellent way to help GREY2K USA Worldwide carry on its work today and in the future. If you have questions about planned giving, please email us at info@grey2kusa.org or call our office at 781-488-3526.

Ways to give:

Leave a bequest

Providing for GREY2K USA Worldwide in your will is a “greyt” way to support greyhound advocacy. Here is our identification information:

GREY2K USA Worldwide
P.O. Box F
7 Central Street
Arlington, MA 02476
781- 488-3526
EIN. No. 04-3554776

Because the laws governing wills and bequests may vary from state to state, we strongly recommend that you consult with independent legal counsel. Simply ask your attorney to include a bequest to GREY2K USA Worldwide in your current will or trust. You may also instruct counsel to add a codicil (addendum) that inserts new provisions into an existing testamentary document.

Add a beneficiary to your retirement plan

By naming GREY2K USA Worldwide a beneficiary of your IRA, 401k, 403b, pension, or other retirement plan(s), you can make a significant charitable gift while leaving other assets to your heirs. Many plans simply require you to fill out a form listing GREY2K USA Worldwide as a beneficiary. Please check with your plan administrator or financial advisor for the best way to add or change beneficiaries of each plan.

Make an outright gift

Direct cash gifts are the most common form of giving and may be unrestricted or restricted — specified to benefit greyhounds in a specific state or to support a particular program.

100% of donations support our mission to end dog racing, pass greyhound protection laws and promote greyhound adoption. We are grateful for personal and corporate contributions. Because GREY2K USA lobbies for greyhound legislation, contributions are not tax deductible.

How your contribution helps

Legislation

We work to pass stronger greyhound protection laws and prohibit dog racing in the United States and around the world.

Increase Awareness

We continually document the cruelty of dog racing through reports, conferences, petitions, action alerts and social media.

Promote Adoption

We regularly support greyhound adoption organizations and contribute financially to rescuing dogs as tracks close.
