GREY2K USA is led by a group of experienced, humane-minded directors who are committed to protecting greyhounds and working together to end the cruelty of dog racing. Collectively, our directors have decades of experience working with lawmakers to pass stronger animal protection laws and volunteering for greyhound adoption organizations.

Christine A. Dorchak, President and General
Counsel Christine Dorchak has extensive professional experience in the animal protection movement. Before obtaining her law degree, she worked as Research Director for the New England Anti-Vivisection Society and was the manager of the Ellen Gifford Sheltering Home for Cats in Boston. A long-distance runner all of her life, she has competed in six Boston Marathons to date. Christine enjoys spending free time with her four cats and greyhound Zoe. Email christine@grey2kusa.org |

Valarie Wolf, Secretary Valarie is a native Californian, who resides with her husband in Orange County. She has been passionate about greyhounds since she was a young child. ![]() | Eric Jackson, Board Member Eric Jackson lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he is the Communications Director for the adoption group Greyhound Companions of New Mexico. Eric and his wife, Kathy, adopted their first greyhound in 2005, and have since added three more rescued greys to their home, including a mother and daughter pair. In addition to his advocacy and adoption work, Eric teaches psychology at the University of New Mexico. Email eric@grey2kusa.org |

Charmaine Settle, Board Member Charmaine Settle is a member of Colorado Greyhound Adoption, Greyhound Rescue International Network, and a supporter of the American European Greyhound Alliance. She helped GREY2K USA defeat Colorado's Amendment 33 ballot initiative that would have propped up dog racing with slot machines, helped collect signatures for a ballot question to end dog racing in Massachusetts and led an effort to defeat House Bill 1095 which would have re-introduced dog racing in Colorado. She has also volunteered at the Scooby refuge in Spain working to bring adoptable greyhounds into the United States and helps coordinate dog hauls from racetracks to adoption groups across the country. Caryn Wood, Board Member Originally from New York City, Caryn Wood worked for more than thirty years as a legal secretary/legal assistant before retiring in 2002. Caryn has been owned by Afghan hounds and whippets since the 1970s. After learning about greyhound racing, she instantly became an anti-racing advocate and adopted her first greyhound in 1997. From that pivotal moment, Caryn has volunteered, fostered, adopted 9 more greyhounds and continues to pursue an end to dog racing. Caryn and husband Dave’s family includes four adult children and five grandchildren. The Woods live in Arizona with Spirit (pictured) and four senior female greyhounds. Email caryn@grey2kusa.org |
