Dear Friends,
You are invited!
Come meet leading voices for greyhound advocacy and adoption from across the world, all in one day, all in one place at our Greyhounds Around the Globe conference on October 15.
|
Our fantastic key note speaker, Wayne Pacelle of The Humane Society of the United States is just one of the many leaders coming together for this one-of-a-kind event at the beautiful Seagate Hotel in Delray Beach, Florida.
Albano Martins from Anima Macau will speak about the fight to close the Canidrome, the worst dog track in the world. Heather Neil, Chief Executive of the RSPCA Australia will lead a panel about the momentous debate now underway in her country. Lucinda Read of Greyhound Compassion and Stefania Traini of Pet Levrieri will provide firsthand updates on the plight of greyhounds in the United Kingdom and Europe. Fermín Jose Pérez Martin of Scooby in Spain will describe his efforts to save thousands of greyhounds and galgos in his country each year.
Perhaps the most significant fight for greyhounds is now underway in Florida, and we will hear from three state lawmakers and greyhound adoption leaders from across the Sunshine State. We are especially honored to have ASPCA Government Relations VP, Nancy Perry, participating in this panel as well.
