Dear Friends,

When GREY2K USA Worldwide was first formed in 2001, we had only our dreams and goals, bolstered by the sincere belief that the cruelty of greyhound racing could be exposed and overcome. Fourteen years later, we have succeeded in bringing about the closure of twenty-eight American dog tracks, blocked the expansion of this cruelty to multiple countries, and helped to give countless greyhounds the second chance that they deserve.

With our growing grassroots network, we have launched our first worldwide human race that enables supporters to help the greyhounds by running, walking or cycling in their own communities. Create your own fundraising page – set your own race length and donation goal! Then share your event with friends and family to gain sponsors.

Learning about the reality of greyhound cruelty can bring about feelings of helplessness - but here is an opportunity to get outside and be active to help end dog racing! Your race can be short or long, and you can do it on your own or with a team of friends.

Raise more than $500 in donations through your fundraising page and receive a GREY2K USA medal! If you raise more than $50 we will also send you a GREY2K USA long sleeve mesh shirt. Be sure to take photos and share with us on our facebook event.

Not an athlete? Then you can sponsor upcoming races by other greyhound friends from Boston to Australia! You can also just buy a Run for Fun shirt and logo socks on our website.

By choosing to participate in your own personal race or donating towards our campaign you are helping ensure that someday dogs will only run for fun!
