In honor of the New Year, one of our GREY2K USA Education Fund board members will double all of your tax-deductible donations to help the greyhounds through midnight tonight! This even includes all new monthly pledges. That's right, she will double all single gifts and if you become a monthly donor, she will second you with her own planned gift in the same amount!

readThe GREY2K USA Education Fund is the 501(c)3 sister of GREY2K USA and offers two main programs which educate children about greyhound racing and promote adoption worldwide.

Our Greyhounds in the Library program links kids with adoption groups across the country. Featuring a reading with a greyhound from the illustrated book Pele's Forever Home, each visit is intended to help kids learn to read and to appreciate the beauty of greyhounds.

Information is provided about local adoption opportunities, and each child receives a free book and a "Save the Greyhounds" wristband to take home.

classroomGreyhounds in the Classroom is a dynamic, free presentation for grades 5-12 to help introduce young people to greyhounds. Each 30-60 minute program is designed to teach children about the gentle and loving nature of these beautiful creatures and encourage the compassion for greyhounds.

The presentation covers:

  • The history of the greyhound
  • The realities of racing life
  • The joys of adopting a greyhound!

    • Please support these effective programs with a donation or monthly pledge today! Remember, our board member will double all donations made through tomorrow at midnight!
