Great news! GREY2K USA's full color update, The Advocate, is arriving in your mailbox now!

Inside The Advocate, you will read all about our expanding global campaign to end dog racing and meet some of the wonderful volunteers and donors who make our work possible.

2014 started off well when Colorado became the 39th state to prohibit dog racing. Governor John Hickenlooper signed House Bill 1146 into law on March 10. The greyhounds also saw advances in several other states and thankfully, the fight to keep dog racing out of South Africa was successful.

In May, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer signed SB 1282 into law, requiring full injury reporting for greyhounds at Tucson Greyhound Park. She also repealed a $1.2 billion racing breeders fund! That same month, Iowa Governor Terry Branstad signed SF 2362 to repeal the live racing mandate statewide.

Additionally, we teamed up with groups in New Zealand, Australia and the UK to begin the important work of rolling back the cruelty of dog racing in these jurisdictions.
