2016 saw key victories for racing dogs, including a unanimous vote in May to prohibit dog racing in the state of Arizona. Plus in Kansas, we were able to defeat a dangerous attempt to reopen three long-closed dog tracks.

Meanwhile, an August vote against dog racing in Australia will mean the closure of dozens of tracks and Argentina has just followed suit by banning dog racing altogether. 

In the UK, London’s last dog track will close in a matter of months and China’s Canidrome has just lost its lease, and soon the greyhounds will become available for rescue and adoption!
