Brooklyn the 4-year old greyhound was last seen racing at the Canidrome on May 5, 2012. The Canidrome is China's only commercial dog track. We need your help to find Brooklyn and to close down this cruel place once and for all.

According to the Macau Daily Times, when a Canidrome dog slows down and finishes outside the top three in five races in a row, she or he is simply destroyed. There is no adoption program at this terrible track! The head of Macau's animal control department has stated that every greyhound is dead within three years and as many as four hundred greyhounds are killed each year after racing.

In May of last year, Brooklyn fell while racing. Track records document that he was cut and wounded. This was the fourth race in a row in which he had finished in fifth place or worse. Read more here.

Track officials claim he is still alive, but where is he? GREY2K USA Worldwide, Animals Asia and Animals Australia sent a letter to the Chief Executive of Macau last week demanding his release. Read our letter.

2. Take a photo of you and your poster and tweet it with the hashtag #rescueBrooklyn @MacauCom and/or email it to gce@raem.gov.mo and send a copy to rescuebrooklyn@grey2kusa.org
