Dear Friends,
My name is James Flanagan. I am the newest director of GREY2K USA Worldwide and I will be biking in a charity race for the greyhounds next month.
Before joining the fight to end dog racing, I was President of the Friends of Retired Greyhounds and more recently, served as a board member for Colorado Voters for Animals. You can read my bio here.
On November 23, I will be participating in the grueling 111-mile Tour de Tucson to raise funds for the GREY2K USA Education Fund. Our 501(c)3 sister organization promotes greyhound adoption through its Greyhounds in the Classroom and Greyhounds in the Library programs, which are offered free to kids all across the world. The Education Fund also makes direct grants to rescue groups, such as the $3,000 it contributed to Arizona’s Greyhounds of the Verde Valley earlier this year.
The Tour de Tucson is an opportunity for me to participate in a world-renowned race and see the beautiful mountain ranges and deserts of Arizona. But I need your help to make this a great day for the greyhounds too!
Please be one of my sponsors. You can set an amount per mile or just pledge a gift for completion of the route. All donations to the GREY2K USA Education Fund are tax deductible, so please be as generous as you can!
Please contact me at james@grey2kusa.org to make your pledge for the greyhounds or make an online gift today towards my goal of $5,000 for the hounds.
Together, we can give greyhounds the second chance they deserve.
