Florida adoption ad campaign begins

Dear Friends,

We are happy to announce the first of what will become our statewide greyhound adoption ads in Florida!

On Friday, June 22, I joined Shelli Halper of Naples Tours for a ribbon cutting ceremony to unveil one of the new ads.

Many greyhound adopters and their beautiful dogs came out for the happy event. See our gallery of photos here.

Perhaps our most special guests were Pat and Joanne Farrell of Homeward Bound Greyhounds. They arrived with four wonderful dogs available for adoption and shared their experience running an independent rescue group. They are among the countless heroes all across the country working to help give greyhounds the second chance they deserve.

The evening ended with photographs taken by John Sciarrino of Giovanni Photography. Due to rain, he was unable to offer personalized greyhound portraits. However, if you would like to have a professional photograph taken with your dog, please make an appointment to visit John at his Naples studio. Call him at 239-263-2229 today. He will donate back 20% of each order to the GREY2K USA Education Fund!

Our newly designed ads each promote greyhound advocacy and adoption with photos of beautiful rescued greyhounds and a link to a dedicated Florida adoption page. Please help us bring this message statewide by making a generous, tax deductible gift to this program today.

As you know, there are thirteen operating dog tracks in Florida, more than in all other states combined. Please help us to encourage and promote greyhound adoption in the Sunshine State and nationwide until the beautiful day when this cruelty ends once and for all.

Many thanks,

zoe
