Dear Friends,
According to news reports, the Arizona legislature is winding down its business and could adjourn as soon as today. As of right now, a very important bill to help greyhounds is still pending before the state Senate, and we need your help to push it over the finish line!
Please call Senate President Andy Biggs right now, and urge him to allow a final vote on Senate Bill 1146. This bill will require the Department of Racing to report greyhound injuries to the public, and also increase penalties for dog track violations.
President Biggs can be reached by phone at 602-926-4371. Because this issue is so timely, calls are needed.
Call Senator Biggs right away, and ask him to allow a vote on SB 1146. Tell him that greyhounds deserve to be protected, and this is a common sense bill that will help hundreds of dogs.
Finally, please forward this message to everyone you know. Together, we can help pass this important measure!
For the greyhounds,

Christine A. Dorchak, Esq.
