State Lawmakers to Vote on Bill to Prop Up Dog Racing, Calls Needed Today!

Dear Friends:

Tomorrow (Wednesday, April 14), the Alabama State House of Representatives is expected to vote on a bill (SB 380) that would prop up dog racing by legalizing thousands of electronic bingo machines at racetracks across the state.

If this passes, it will ensure that the cruelty of dog racing continues to exist in Alabama for years to come.

Greyhound racing is cruel and inhumane. At dog tracks across the country, thousands of dogs endure lives of confinement and many suffer serious injuries.

Please call your State Representative right away, and ask him/her to Vote NO on SB 380. Then, forward this e-mail to everyone you know. To find your State Representative, click here.
