Dear Friends,

We have been working hard at the capitol in Tallahassee since the first day of the 2015 legislative session and we have great news to report. There is a bill that will help greyhounds now moving through the House and we need to send a strong message for all members to Vote Yes on House Bill 1233.

The House Finance and Tax Committee will be voting on greyhound decoupling and injury reporting. These humane proposals that will help thousands of dogs. Please help us win this important vote, by calling each member of the House Finance and Tax Committee right away.

Politely tell each member how much you care about greyhounds, and ask them to Vote Yes on House Bill 1233. Feel free to use our Greyhound Decoupling Fact Sheet as a guide in making your calls. We are asking you to please call lawmakers because emails are easily ignored.

Every minute you spend making calls with help the thousands of greyhounds that are sitting in small cages at Florida racetracks right now. They cannot help themselves, and these desperate hounds are counting on all of us to fight for change.

Please take a few moments out of your day, and make these calls for them without delay!
