Our bill to close Tucson Greyhound Park will be heard on the Senate floor next week! Please pick up the phone now and ask your State Senator to VOTE YES ON HB 2127!

Be sure to give your full name and address and say you are a constituent.

This humane measure will make dog racing illegal as of December 31, 2016, and also end the millions of tax payer dollars that have been used to subsidize the cruelty of dog racing each year since 1995. Even more, 400 greyhounds will get the second chance they have long been waiting for and Arizona will become the 40th state to prohibit dog racing!

HB 2127 is coming up for a vote, so please act now.

Sample message: I am calling to ask you to support HB 2127, which was approved unanimously by the Senate Finance Committee last week. This bill will prohibit the cruelty of dog racing in Arizona by December 31, 2016.

Ending dog racing will also remove the requirement that our state continue to subsidize live greyhound racing as it has done for more than twenty years. The track itself supports the bill.

Please support this common sense measure and Vote Yes on HB 2127.
