![]() The fight to close the Canidrome, the world’s deadliest dog track, continues! The Macau Canidrome is China’s only legal dog track and thousands of innocent Australian greyhounds have been sent there to be used and killed since 1963. Thankfully, the export of greyhounds to Macau was suspended in December when Australian airlines Qantas and Cathay Pacific refused to fly any more greyhounds to the region. No greyhounds had been sent to the Canidrome in last three months. Until now. We have recently learned that three greyhounds arrived in Hong Kong for transfer to Macau last week. These are Irish dogs, the latest in a long line of four-legged victims who will soon die at a true slaughterhouse for greyhounds. ![]() We must now work harder than ever to stop this cruelty with new victims from Ireland! ![]() Now is the time to remind the Irish government that its ban on racing dog exports to Asian countries should be strictly enforced. Please sign our petition to Prime Minster (Taoiseach) Enda Kenny and Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Simon Coveney today. The innocent greyhounds of Ireland are counting on us to act now! ![]()
