Dear Friends,
Today, I write to let you know that we are working energetically all across the country to end dog racing. One of our major fights is in Florida, where lawmakers are on the verge of passing a measure designed to cut the number of tracks in half! Watch the latest story on CBS Evening News.
We are also actively focusing our efforts in states such as Arizona, Kansas and West Virginia. Please also sign our petitions in support of all these campaigns!
Thanks to supporters like you, the voice of greyhound advocacy is now stronger than ever. Since our last auction in November, many of you have pledged lovely items, including a hand crocheted greyhound doll with collar and leash from Monica DeBiase of Massachusetts, a signed copy of Comet’s Tale by greyhound advocate Steven Wolf, a personalized painting from Pennsylvania artist Andrea Agresta and a sterling silver greyhound-in-motion pendant from Deleuse Jewelry of San Francisco. Also check out the beautiful silver-toned greyhound statue donated by our board member Charmaine Settle, the tummy-hugging fleece coat and snood modeled by our very own Gina, a giant greyhound magnet and Greyhound Crossing sign, plus a greyhound table runner in Shamrock Green just in time for St. Patrick’s Day.
Thanks to our kind volunteers, we are also offering high end items like a t-shirt from London’s Tate Museum, authentic Chanel No. 5 body cream, and an elegant beaded wristlet perfect for your next exclusive party! Please check out all the donated items here.
You can help end dog racing by bidding today. Our campaign auction ends Tuesday, March 1 at noon EST, so place your bids now.
For the greyhounds,

Christine A. Dorchak, Esq.
President
