Dear friends, Yesterday, the House Regulatory Affairs Committee passed a bill that makes changes to the state's gambling laws by a vote of 12-6! Thankfully, this measure included several greyhound protection measures including greyhound decoupling and injury reporting. This vote means we are one step closer to phasing out dog racing in Florida! The bill will now go to at least one other committee, before being voted on by the full House of Representatives. Meanwhile, the Senate Regulated Industries Committee delayed its vote on a similar bill until next week. As a result, the lawmakers below still need calls in favor of greyhound decoupling. Please take a few moments to call these Senators, and ask them to Vote Yes on Any Bill that Includes Greyhound Decoupling. Also consider making the following points:
Please call as many of these lawmakers as possible, and ask them to vote Yes for the Dogs on Greyhound Decoupling.
