Dear Friends,

As I write this to you, we are commemorating our 15th year of fighting for the greyhounds! That’s right, Carey Theil and I formed GREY2K USA on February 7, 2001 and since that time you have helped us to close down 30 dog tracks in 13 states plus the US Territory of Guam.

But we cannot sit back now. We will not be satisfied until the cruelty of dog racing ends everywhere! In fact, legislative sessions have now opened all across the country. There are just six states left with operational dog tracks -- so our efforts are more focused than ever.

Additionally, we are fighting to keep Kansas from re-opening three old dog tracks as “racinos” where slot machine profits would be used to subsidize greyhound cruelty. Please sign our petition now to stop HB 2537 from moving forward.
