Dear Friends,
After years of hard work, a proposal is moving through the Constitution Revision Commission (CRC) to completely end greyhound racing in Florida! If approved by voters statewide, Proposal 67 will phase out dog racing by December 31, 2019. This important measure is sponsored by Senator Tom Lee.

On Friday, Proposal 67 will be the subject of a key vote in the CRC Executive Committee. Please email these Commission members right away, and ask them to vote YES on Proposal 67! Tell them greyhound racing is cruel and inhumane, and should end. Feel free to use our Proposal 67 Fact Sheet when writing your email.

Finally, if you live in South Florida please also attend a CRC public hearing scheduled for next Tuesday, February 6 in Ft. Lauderdale. At this hearing, members of the public will have a chance to speak to all of the Commission members. We need to have as many greyhound advocates at this meeting as possible!
