Enter Your Dog in Our 2010 Calendar Contest!

Dear Greyhound Friends,

Today we announce a special contest for the greyhounds!

GREY2K USA is now designing a special edition 14-month calendar dedicated to the thousands of dogs who have been rescued from dog tracks nationwide. Please enter your retired racing dog today!

1. One photo entry per dog



2. Include your dog’s name, tattoo numbers and history of 150 words or less



3. Photographs must be of 300 dpi quality (or greater) at 8.75" high x 11.25" wide



4. Photographs must be horizontal (landscape) format, not vertical (portrait) orientation



5. E-mail entries to calendardog@grey2kusa.org



6. Deadline to submit photos is 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on August 31, 2009

Fourteen dogs will be selected, one to represent each month. Unfortunately, entries that do not meet all of the criteria above cannot be accepted. Winners will be asked to sign a release granting use of the photo to GREY2K USA.

Our new calendar will highlight special victories and major accomplishments in the campaign to end dog racing. We will announce the winners in the early fall and take advance orders at that time.

Remember, the submission period ends on August 31, so be sure to send us your Best Friend’s photo and story as soon as possible!
