Massachusetts Voters Pass Question 3!
On November 4, 2008, Massachusetts voters overwhelmingly passed Question 3 by a margin of 56% to 44%. This historic vote will phase out commercial dog racing in the state by 2010.
The greyhounds won in 12 of 14 counties, and in nearly 290 cities and towns from all across the state. This was a sweeping victory for everyone in the Commonwealth who cares about dogs.
We want to thank all of our supporters and volunteers who worked so hard to help end the suffering of thousands of greyhounds.
